PBX Tips & Tricks

Programing:

Software Programming requires a cable connection.
PC to PBX - TVS Connection requires a null modem cable connection.
You may purchase these cab kits from us or you may make your own.

You will need 9 PIN Female for the PC side and a 25 PIN Male for the PBX - TVS side

Allen-Tel Part number ATDB9F-8 or Siemon Part Number DB09F-MJ8K (F= Female - M=Male)

RJ-45  Pin Position & Color

The following shows wiring for the 9 pin-F on the left** (PBX Side) and a 9 pin-F PC connector on the right.

Simply insert the above the above colors in the shown pin number hole for each side and use a standard CAT-5 Patch cable to connect both sides.

** 9 PIN Female Required on both sides for KX-TD308 and KX-TVS50 & 80.

The following shows wiring for the:
25 pin Male (KX-TD1232 & 816 & KX-TVS100, 110, 200, 300) on the left (PBX Side)
and a 9 pin Female (PC) connector on the right.
