Company Greetings
The Panasonic voice mail system has the ability to play 64 different recorded company greetings. Why so many ? Greeting number 1 is your normal daytime greeting. Additional greeting can be set for special events, holidays, 2nd or 3rd languages, etc.
How do I get into the voice mail system in order to program it? For security reasons, we will not display this information here.
The following is the normal recording I prepare for greeting number 1, Day Mode. Company Greeting #1Hello, Thank You for calling XYZ Company (Your Company Name Here)....
The following is the normal recording I prepare for greeting number 2, Night Mode. Company Greeting #2Hello, Thank You for calling (Your Company Name Here).... You have reached us after our normal business hours... We are open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM. We are open Saturday's from 9AM to 1PM and closed Sunday's
Greeting number 2 is only a subtle change, but enough to let your customers know that your not a full staffing. Of course you may add or change the above format example to your liking at anytime. The Company Greeting can also announce special events on special days. To use this feature, simply change to another greeting number 3 to 64 and once the event is past just change back to greeting number 1 & 2. Holiday's are always busy times, people taking vacation, a change in business hours, etc. The Auto Attendant can be programmed to change company greeting numbers automatically by just entering the dates of a particular holiday. Then just assign a company greeting number to that holiday, record it and your done! When that holiday comes up, the Auto Attendant automatically switches to that holiday greeting and back to greeting number 1 after the holiday. Just one less thing to remember for your customer service needs.
