| | Network Telephone Company Receives
Panasonic Certification
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Hackettstown, New Jersey—On May 3, 2002, Network Telephone Company, Inc. (NTC),
a full-service telecommunications firm based in Hackettstown, NJ, received
certification from Panasonic as a duly certified KX-TD500 Digital Super Hybrid
PBX Systems Dealer.
This certification will enable NTC to install digital PBX phone systems with
over 500 assignable ports.
Panasonic recently developed this large PBX business phone system that is
designed to grow with a customer's business. The TD500 PBX can be initially
installed with a basic eight-line by eight-extension phone system and, to
adequately meet increasing communications demands, the system can grow to a
fully functional 500-plus port PBX system.
Some of the most notable features of the TD500 PBX include digital voice mail
integration, modular port design for easy system upgrades, call center solutions
such as Uniform Call Distribution (UCD), and group services, such as overflow
groups.
The hardware features of the TD500 PBX include the ability to install several
T-1 cards to make a PBX network that functions as a single “Call Management
System.” This type of PBX networking allows several offices in various locations
to interact through the use of one phone system, thereby linking local and
remote offices and, more importantly, reducing overall calling costs.
Additionally, through an optional modual, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocall)
can be accomplished, there by allowing employees to telecommute to work with
full access to the PBX system from their home by using a DSL or Cable modem
connection from their local carrier.
The TD500 system also allows enhanced use of Panasonic's TVS-300 digital voice
mail and auto-attendant processing system. One new feature is the ability to
Forward Calls from the users desk phone to their cellular phone, and once the
user has arrived to their final destination, the user can remotely change the
Foward Call setting to another telephone number. This Foward Feature is a
feature that no other telephone manufacturer has available.
An extensive array of options can be installed to customize the PBX to meet each
customer's telecommunications requirements.
NTC has already been commissioned to install a TD500 PBX System with Panasonic's
new TVS-300 voice processing system in a building now under construction in
Warren County. Computer network cabling completion will be performed by NTC’s
certified technicians.
Established in 1975, NTC became a regional leader in the telecommunications
industry in 1986. Focusing on both public and business communications, NTC’s
expert staff also installs computer network systems and internet access devices.
NTC has been a Panasonic installer of analog phones since 1985, and received its
initial certification from Panasonic in 1995 when Panasonic manufactured its
first digital KX-TD1232 PBX telephone system.
