FAQ

Q:  I have a few phones that are close to each other and when an external CO call arrives, all extensions ring one immediately after the other.  Since they are close to each other, they all sound like a long continuous ring.
How can I correct this ?

A:  The kxt/d series rings in 4 groups.

The ports 01,05,09,13,17,21,25,29 (all at same time)
then ports 02,06,10,14,18,22,26,30 (all at same time)
then ports 03,07,11,15,19,23,27,31 (all at same time)
then ports 04,08,12,16,20,24,28,32 (all at same time)

So, if you want phones in the same room to ring at the same time,
only use ports 01,05,09,13,17,21,25,29 for those phones.
